Ich muss ehrlich sagen: Ich bin recht positiv angetan von diesem Dehancer Plugin. Habe dazu dann parallel die Filmconvert Nitrate Demo angeworfen und muss sagen das mir Dehancer schon eher zusagt bei Nutzung derselben “Filmprofile” auf selbiges Slog3 Ausgangsmaterial.

Especially if you have very fast turnarounds, FilmConvert can come in handy because if you got your exposure and white balance right you can just slap it on say an adjustment layer, pick a film stock that suits the mood, tweak the intensity to your liking and voila, you’re done. If you need to do some color correction before you get to working on a look for your footage, you can do that also within FilmConvert, although I personally prefer to work in a dedicated grading program like SpeedGrade for this.

But that’s the beauty of it: You’re completely free to do the correction and part of your look in SpeedGrade, then switch over to Premiere and take your look further with FilmConvert! For me this has proven to be a very valuable tool in my color workflow.
